Here at Macatawa Dog Training, we know that consistency and dedicated time are essential components of effective training. Our Play & Train program is an immersive experience designed to give both you and your dog the structure and focus needed to achieve lasting results.

Over the course of 10 days, your pup will learn basic commands through training tailored to their unique learning style. This personalized approach allows our trainer to provide clear expectations and the guidance your pup needs to succeed. The combination of structure, guidance, and focused time provides a valuable reset for their physical and mental energy. As part of this reset, your dog will develop impulse control, reduce attention-seeking behaviors, and increase patience.

At the conclusion of the program, all training information is passed on to you, the owner. Our trainer will teach you the commands your pup has learned and guide you in transitioning those skills seamlessly into everyday life at home.

Commands Learned: sit/stay, down/stay, focus, drop it, leave it, place, recall (come), heel, and basic handling

Over the two weeks, your dog will learn basic obedience and advanced commands through training tailored to their learning style. This personalized approach ensures clear expectations, giving your dog the time and guidance needed to succeed. The program also provides a mental and physical reset, helping your dog develop impulse control, reduce attention-seeking behaviors, and increase patience.

At the conclusion of the program, we transition the training to you. Our trainer will teach you all the commands your dog has learned and provide guidance for a smooth return to life at home.
